Suregrip

Suregrip is the only BBA approved walkway system. Backed with over 25 years of experience in the production of roof walkways Suregrip is manufactured to ISO 9002.

Suregrip valley style walkway installed at Brighton Railway station. The suregrip is installed above the gutter line to provide a levelled, antislip walkway surface for maintenance personnel accessing the roof. In the event that access is required to the gutter below, the walkway is designed to be easily removed. Suregrip valley style walkway has a unique side skirt design which allows the walkway to be installed in valleys from 3 – 70 degrees. The Suregrip valley walkway is laid directly to the roof surface and does not require any penetration of the roof covering. Suregrip walkway raises the operative out of the gutter and provides an anti-slip, levelled and delineated walking surface.

Suregrip Collective Protection Covers. The HSE's recently published Working at Height Regulations (WAHR's) 2005 have hi-lighted the dangers of working on fragile roof surfaces. The WAHR's also recommend that Collective protection measures be taken over individual (ie. PPE based) protection measures. The Suregrip Collective protection covers are the perfect solution. Once installed the Suregrip Collective protection covers allow operatives to safely access a gutter line for cleaning and maintenance purposes safe in the knowledge that should a trip occur they are protected to either side from a fall through the otherwise fragile surface. Suregrip Collective protection Covers can be installed without the need to penetrate the building fabric.

Suregrip walkway is tested and approved for use on the majority of leading roof sheets; standing-seam, composite panel, built-up-on-site and single-ply membrane. The walkway is either laid to the roof surface or affixes to the roof in a non penetrative manner. The Suregrip roof walkway provides a delineated, levelled, anti-slip walkway surface which will help to prologue the life of any regularly trafficked roof.

The step units can be either loose laid or affixed to the roof covering. Where affixed a proprietary fixing system has been developed which does not affect the integrity of the roof covering.
