The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requires public bodies to promote equality of opportunity for disabled people.  It also allows the government to set minimum standards so that disabled people can use public transport easily.  Network Rail has acted swiftly and Gable is involved in several DDA projects for various main contractors, including Osborne Rail, Birse Rail and Dyer & Butler.  Gable has completed the roofing and cladding to DDA projects involving new lift towers, footbridges and subway tunnels.
