Gable 'Do the Double' At Kalzip Awards!

Gable UK is proud to announce that they have won the ‘Best of The Best’ category at the 2009 Kalzip TeamKal awards.

The project at Mounbatten Centre in Portsmouth was announced as the winner at the ceremony held by Kalzip on the 6th October. Gable UK also won the award for ‘Best Project over 1500’ which was also awarded for the Mountbatten Centre project.

'These awards are recognised as a benchmark for excellence within the roofing and cladding industry, so to win twice in a row is a truly fantastic achievement,' Director Paul Chatwin stated. ‘On top of that, to win two awards in one year is something our team can all be extremely proud of and hopefully the people of Portsmouth can say the same about this fantastic building.’

2008 saw Gable UK take home the award for Technical Excellence and Design for the impressive project at Bovington Tank Museum. 

 

Bovington Tank Museum: Awards Roll On!

Bovington Tank Museum has continued to sweep aside the competition, winning the Roof Sheeting category at the NFRC Excellence in Roofing Awards. Widely recognised as one of the outstanding merits in the industry, the NFRC plaudits are reserved for the most innovative projects in the roofing and cladding arena. “Once again, this project has garnered a truly deserved award,” Director Paul Chatwin stated. Bovington has already been under the spotlight, winning the TeamKal award for Technical Excellence & Design earlier this year. “Each and every recognition is special, however the NFRC represents this industry superbly and to be honoured in this way is very pleasing indeed.” Paul insisted that the recent haul of merits would not be taken for granted. “This is a benchmark year for us but the work we do and the way we do it—on site and in the office—has always been exemplary and that level of service and workmanship will continue to be our main focus.”
